Bottle School Projects
Anthony and Rachel have been volunteers with The WorldVentures Foundation partnered with a non-profit called Hug It Forward in 2010 with the goal to bring education to a larger global community. Guatemala has a major trash problem, and the Hug It Forward eco-brick bottle school designs provide a sustainable solution to communities for solving this problem. Each school is built with roughly 20,000 bottles, each bottle housing 2 lbs of tightly packed in-organic waste. These schools are currently being built around the San Martín Jilotepeque community, and to date 100 schools have been completed!! WooooHOOOOOOO!!! Everyone involved with this project knows the next 100 will come twice as quickly. Join the movement!
